It's been some time since we've had anything to rate. This week's adventures at the hospital have left an impression on us...
Here's Alex's take on what's what with waiting rooms, Judge Judy and one-armed activities...
Well it all started 2 days ago at a mid day get together at one of my moms firends house...
It was a happy day, birds cherping, nice and warm with a cool breeze. my mom had sigjested that i bring my skate-board. so i did. and at there sher unuf i rode my it with the lockle children. then when i was happaly moving along i hit some sort of rock or stick. i landed face down on the grownd with my hand palm up agenst my chest. i looked at it to see what looked like a hand that had gone throu a cheese grater. the fresh was worn down to a sort of liquidy bloody skin. soon after i forn i had skined the palm of my other hand (not too deep). then i found my glasses as i stumbed up on my sukure feet. they thankfuly hadend broken but were oquerdly bent at a 150 degree angle judt between the lens and the hing. but i esaly wor the with the hing bet 60 degrees less making the 90 degrees again. as i walked to the parental units for mesical atention i relised that my wrist was stiff. i figered it was just tramma. when i got there Tracy was more than happy to bandige me up.
on the car ride home i noticed it hert to kepp my arm down so i elivated it. the nexed day my sdad thout i should get my arm x-rayed. so at 4:00 pm i had an x-ray done. in the wating room a TV was on it was Judg Juty. the episode was a cupple who mad a lone and payed for stuff with it they werent suposd to. and as time passed i saw a hole 3 groups of people walk in then walk out pleesed with themselves as they left. finsly me and Amanda were called to the front desk the lady said to pick up the phone whe it rand so she did. Amanda said "OK Alex lookes lick you brock your wrist. so they put a temperary cast on and told me that i showld come in tomarow. so today we came in to yet again site in a smelly disgusting god ofle wating room. so onec i got to the doctor he looked at the x-rays and then he sayed "OK now whitch colored cast wouls you like, there was black, white, green, blue, oringe, and purple. i picked white so poeple could sine it. befor they put the cast on they put a thin cloth over my arm then the wrapped my hand in cotten the the finaly wrapped it in the faberglass cloth.
and there you have it my advencher to the hosital.

Here are my top three paths to drive in Beverly:
3. From Beverly Farms to Waring, that little windy road that feels like a roller coaster.
2. on Route 127 by the water... so pretty.
1. From 128, take 22 into the heart of Berly, get yourself to Cabot St. and end up either at the Abbott Yarn Shop or eating sushi at Kame.

Here is how I rate the coffee I had today, best to worst:
1. The First cup of Sumatra at the Grange
2. The second cup at the Grange, which was meant to be Sumatran but might have been hazelnut
3. The cup I got at Richdale's while waiting for Alex at the bus. It was much better after I put it in a real mug.
4. A bad, bad cup of coffee from Seven Eleven in Beverly Farms. Just afetr I poured it the man from the counter came over and emptied the rest of it to start a new pot. The cream and milk were both empty, so I had to use this flavored non-dairy crud. Yuck. This cup is, excepting two sips, in a cup in my car.
Interesting news bit of the day: The leading manufacturer of male underwear in China has shifted its production from tighty whiteys to masks to prevent the spread of SARS.

Today was a good day. Everything coming up roses, as they say. I managed to get 3 barrels of trash out with only 1 bought sticker. I got a new (to me) couch. Planted some lettuce, broccoli and brussel sprouts. Moved all the furniture in my living room. This has to be my most productive day this week.
I have to say, diner wasn't very good. And I didn't watch the Simpsons. But it was still a good day.

The burrito was good, I'd say. Very chickeny and spicy and cheesy. There weren't many (maybe any) vegetables in it. I like vegetables and think they might have been nice. We tried to make refied beans but started cooking the beans too late. We'll have to do something with those later. Rice, salsa and guacamole were also good.
The Simpsons was the spectacular 'See My Vest' episode. At the moment, here are my top 3 Simpsons musical moments:

1. The Stone Cutters
The episode tonight was worthwhile, if only for the song. Otherwise I think it s a bit weak.

We've just gotten started. Our first rating will be the burrito from the grange we are going to have for dinner. Will it be good? I had a breakfast burrito at the Sunny Day today, so I have something fresh in my mind to compare it to.
